How I work

I start by understanding the business problem and the people affected by it. I work closely with customers and teams to turn their needs into practical software solutions. I’m a proponent of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Extreme Programming (XP), using short feedback cycles to refine solutions and keep the work focused on business value.

I stay up to date with software engineering tools and practices, including AI coding agents that help me develop faster. I use them to explore ideas, assist with implementation, and reduce repetitive work. Engineering judgment, code review, and testing remain essential to delivering high-quality, reliable software.

What I work on

I work on services that move data and money: payment integrations, transaction processing, recurring billing, and systems that communicate through APIs and messages. I care about building high-quality, reliable software that meets real needs.

Where I’ve been

My experience ranges from modernizing core banking applications and improving batch processing to developing financing systems and backend services at Grab. More recently, I’ve worked on payment orchestration and provider integrations. Along the way, I’ve led technical delivery and mentored developers.

I also have experience integrating AI into applications and building AI-powered product features.

Outside that work, I build my own projects, including desktop tools for files and databases, and applications for schools and families.
